Lare

socialise your leetcode progression.

Track your practice like a workout. Lare logs every problem you open and every submission you make, so you can share your solution, follow friends and see how everyone is progressing.

Lare is packaged as a desktop app and Chrome extension.

You sign in inside the app. There is no account to make here.

With Lare

Conceptual illustration. The numbers are examples, not measurements.

Every session. No stopwatch.

The Chrome extension captures problems, your edits and judge results on its own. There is nothing to start or stop. Open a problem and practice logs itself, then lands in a feed your followers can read.

Open
Open any LeetCode problem. The extension notices, and the clock starts without you touching it.
Solve
Your Monaco edits are captured as you type, so the code you submit has its history behind it.
Submit
Each judged submission is logged with runtime and memory percentiles and the runtime distribution graph.
Share
Attach a demo video to a session and publish it as a post your followers can watch and replay.

Mock interviews that grade you.

Start an interview from the extension's side panel while the desktop app is open. The app records your screen, microphone and camera bubble, and whisper.cpp transcribes the recording on your machine. The AI review is built from that transcript, and nothing is sent to the cloud for transcription.

You are scored on five things, each pinned to timestamped moments in the recording, so you can jump to the exact minute it went well or fell apart.

  • Problem solving
  • Code quality
  • Speed
  • Correctness

Timestamped review

A desktop app and a browser extension.

The extension works on its own for sign-in, passive capture and drafts. It talks to the desktop app over 127.0.0.1 to start, pause and end an interview, so the app has to be open for one. Lare checks GitHub Releases on every launch and installs updates in the background. How to install.

macOS
Apple Silicon and Intel. Records your screen natively and transcribes the interview on your machine.
Windows
Windows 10 and 11 on x64, with the same native recording and local transcription.
Chrome
Captures problems and judge results on its own, and starts interviews from a side panel. Chrome 116 or later.
Download

Two downloads. About two minutes.

Grab the desktop app for macOS or Windows from GitHub Releases, then load the extension into Chrome. Practice starts logging the moment you open a problem.

Development

Build it in the open.

Lare is in active development. The extension, the desktop app and this site live in one repository, and everything you need to run them is in the README.
